Just Samson!!!

     Samson has been talking a lot more!! He is a silly boy, with lots of expressions & lots of personality!! This is new face that he has been making! We think he is trying to look Japanese like his Uncle Roger. Whatever has inspired his new expression is pretty cute!

I hope these pictures and video bring you a smile! Samson makes us laugh and smile daily!! WE are SO BLESSED to have his wonderfully bright spirit in our lives!! Praise God for making such beautiful children with unique gifts! We love you all! Thank you for your love & support! Wish you were here!

The Cumberland Fair!!!

      Today we went to our first church in Maine, it was called West Falmouth Baptist Church. We enjoyed the service and the music was a nice blend of old hymns and current worship. However, we were the youngest couple there. :(  It was congregation included about 40 people (5 kids, one couple in their 30s, and the rest were over 70). We are going to try out another church next week. We feel we need a community of believers our age to grow.
       After church we went to the Fair. It was a super hot and humid day today, so we baking in the sun. The fair was smaller than ones back home. There were a few carnival rides, food stands and the rest was contests for best in show livestock. From huge Ox down to dwarf bunnies. We all enjoyed seeing the various animals. Samson's favorite was the "Old McDonald" petting zoo. We saw long eared goats, ducks, geese, hens, bunnies, and a little cow.
       It was a fun day!! Wish you all could be here with us! We love you all & you're in our hearts!

#1 He has a new teething face, he's able to make his top lip disappear. ( Picture Below)
#2 He now can be in the crawl position and will rock back & forth (Crawling is the next stage!!!) :)

P.S. Journey to York continued...

      One of my favorite houses we drove by is called The Wedding Cake House!!! It is said to be most photographed house in Maine. Check out the pictures and you'll know why. :) It's glorious!!

Journey to York Beach!!!

     We began our day with the idea of going to York beach to see the famous Nubble Light. This gem of a light house can be seen from the shores of York. But this dream has to wait for another day to be experienced. Our lack of compass/GPS made us get lost, and had us arrive at Ogunquit instead. This town comes just as highly rated as a must see, so we were not disappointed. We had a nice lunch at a lovely colonial house turned into a restaurant. It was called Rose Cove. The town had so many cute, and quaint shops. After browsing the stores we stumbled upon a beautiful look out point to see the beautiful beach. As I looked down the shore I could see gorgeous houses on the cliffs. What an amazing view they must have! There were these nice Adirondack Chairs set out "just for us". ;) It was so peaceful!!!
      On our journey home we decided to drive through Kennebunk and Kennebunkport(where Bush lives) to see the beautiful town, houses, and to hopefully find the President's house. No Bush was found. However, I saw the cutest shops I've ever seen and the most beautiful houses that I never knew existed!! I was in heaven!!! Each house had it's own unique charm and some looked like they came out of a fairytale book. I can't wait to take my family there and any other brave soul that visits us!! :)  We continue to keep our dear family and friends in our prayers! We love you all and wish you could be here with us!!

#1 He can now eat a whole jar of baby food in one sitting! (big surprise ;) )
#2 He can feed himself the bottle at some feedings. (what a big boy)
#3 He is a cat lover, Dogs are aggressive with their kisses.
#4 He is still not crawling...(stubborn boy)

Fall Day!!! With Apple picking!

    Today we visited the apple orchards at Thompson's farm in New Glouchester. It reminded me of our fall days in Oak Glen. Sadly, they have not heard of cider floats. So I of course made them for the family at home. After picking 2lbs of Macintosh apples. We headed over to Orchard Hills in Cumberland, to go on a hay ride. Samson really loved being outside and enjoyed God's beauty. He tried to nibble on some fresh apples too. It was such a wonderful day! Wish you all could be here with us!
